Job Description
Retirement Homes within the Regina area are seeking candidates for a handy-man and general labour positions.
Handy man jobs may include some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), building maintenance, loading and unloading shipments, and landscape maintenance. Candidate must be comfortable on their feet for a long shift, and able to work at a fast pace.
The ideal employee will have a positive attitude, a hardworking demeanor, be open to learning new things, and believe that any job worth doing is worth doing right.
Basic Requirements:
- Must have a keen eye for detail and able to accurately read tape measures and other measuring tools.
- Must be punctual, reliable and have a flexible work schedule.
- Must be quick, self organized, have a good professional attitude towards residents and staff.
- Ability to use and operate all required equipment.
- Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and must be able to motivate staff.
